Spell it out instead of assuming it.
Even the most attentive partner can occasionally misread signals.so try not to make an issue out of it. , go ahead , express your feelings and your needs. Many a time it happens that partners feel embarrassed to express their needs and desires, end up feeling disappointed and hurt ,without bothering to analyse "why". Partners are not mind readers so try to spell out your feeling and requirement , instead of assuming that your partner will understand it. Most people who suppress their wants (big or small) over a long period ,end up feeling bitter and frustrated , while blaming their partners for having been insensitive to ( unexpressed ) desires. They forget that there partners are not trained psychologists ,so how they possibly know what's on the other person's mind if it remains there ???
